Check exterior walls for leaks, stains, cracks and possible sources or signs of water seepage. If any of these are present, patching and repainting is recommended. Start by cleaning the surface with soap and water. Use hose and scrub to remove mud and silt from the wall.
Putty small cracks with Dutch Boy® Tex-A-Crete™ Cast #3211 for exterior and Dutch Boy® Nalcrete™ Concrete Putty #7211 for interior. For larger cracks, consult a professional and apply corrective civil works.

Remove all loose, scaling, flaking and peeling off paint. Using a sharp blade, cut a small cross-section in the old paint. Apply masking tape over it and then remove; if the old paint comes off, the old paint film needs to be stripped. Sand down edges to even the surface.
Cover all areas with one (1) layer of Dutch Boy® Concrete Conditioner #6100. Let dry for two (2) hours before applying the topcoat.
